Just got another one of these e-mails. Now you would think that "Martin" from os28.net would use their multi-language SEO pages on their own site, right? Wrong!

A quick check with Google shows that their site does not have any non-english pages:
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.os28.net

Hmmm ...

I've been getting these emails from Martin Vermont for nearly a year now. Like others here our compnay serves a niche market so we are not interest in any SEO. I've blocked these emails but every few months the originating address is changed so they still come through. No problem - I'm very handy with the delete button!

Hi,

we've got the same e-mail from Martin Vermont:

From: Martin Vermont [mailto:martinvermont @languageseo.net]
Sent: Monday, November 28, 2011 9:11 PM
To: our e-mail address
Subject: (( our website)) - Did you receive this email sent to you last week ?

Did you receive the e-mail which we sent to you recently (copied here-below)?
Please confirm since I have had problems lately with emails intercepted by spam-filters set too high.

Cordially,

Martin Vermont, Ph.D.
martinvermont@ languageseo.net
I am Dr. Martin Vermont and I work for Multilingual Search Engine Optimization Inc. in Washington DC (Tel: 1-202-558-2504) - I would like to speak with the person in charge of your international clientele. Who is my contact? Who should I speak to??

In fact, after visiting (((our website))) , I have noticed that your website cannot be found on foreign search engines (I tested it on Hispanic search engines, German search engines, Asian search engines, etc.) Our company is specialized in multilingual search engine promotions in 28 languages . From the Japanese Google to the German Yahoo, from the AOL in Spanish to the MSN in Chinese, we can show you how to develop a true international online presence by promoting your website on foreign search engines.

Let us show you how to develop a presence on the multilingual web without having to translate your website: It is not necessary to translate your website in order to submit to foreign search engines, however, you need to have at least 1 page in Japanese optimized with Japanese keywords and meta tags in order to submit to Japanese search engines, at least 1 page in Spanish optimized with Spanish keywords in order to submit to Hispanic search engines and so on...

I strongly suggest that you watch our online presentation which explains clearly how to get top rankings on foreign search engines with only 1 entry page per language (click on the following link or copy-paste it into your web browser): languageseo.net/demo

From the Japanese Google to the German Yahoo, from the AOL in Spanish to the MSN in Chinese, get users to find your website when searching with YOUR KEYWORDS in their Native language.

Please call me at +1 (202) 558-2504 or email me and let's work on giving your website the true international exposure which it deserves to have with foreign native online users!!

Regards,

Thanks for this information. We already got 3 or 4 mails from Martin Vermont, very insistant. I wanted to answer him finally that we don't need his services. Luckily I looked here, it would be silly to write to a bot.

I too received a message from Martin Vermont; in fact, he was chasing up a response he felt he was owed from his email from a month ago. We deal widely with contacts in Asia, and our website is well-known and accessed there, so he clearly just swinging the lead.

Hi, thanks for all this helpful info.
Os28 "arrived" in Portugal also a few months ago and the "new assistant" is Martin Vermont.
These days one is open to do business on the web and I myself am exploring the possibility of hiring casual IT solutions, but SPAM is always SPAM and Os28 is toxic SPAM

We've gotten a few from Dr. Marc Schneider's "assistant" gravely telling us that we don't have an international presence, and our [insert website URL here] deserves one....

Two things:
1. We service a niche audience in Australia that respond well to personal contact, so audiences derived from SEO are generally unqualified users; and

2. Why would a Dr speciallise in SE0??? What has he gotten his qualifications in?

How kind and respectful these comments are!

Dr. Marc Schneider and Nick Hollander? whether real names or bogus, the bot generates a very frustrating amount of spam, and have been doing so here for years!

One thing worth mentioning is the total lack of intelligence this spammer seems to deploy. I'm sure his service is just as obtose as his spam bot if it exists at all. If only I knew where his personal home was.. To pump out a septic tank truck into that house would bring me joy, he's been pumping Sh__ my year for years!

we're getting them in new zealand too. so random. our audience is local so we don't even care if our website doesn't rank no.1 offshore. we're getting them from a different email address: From: Martin Vermont [mailto:mvermont@ os28.net]

<em><strong>I suspect it's a bot producing these. But why? Maybe there's a trojan once you've signed up and paid the initial $250? I don't know about a suspected Trojan, but they are most certainly spammers and I'm not sure that their service offering is good value for money. BM</strong></em>

Hello, my name is Nick. But I am not the Nick that you mention here. Oddly enough, I also live in the Wash DC area AND I got this SPAM email from these folks as well.

So they want $250 to get my website indexed? Why? I am presently ranked number 1 in Yahoo, number 7 in Google and number 3 in MSN - based on search criteria.

Keep your checkbook in your drawer. These people are offering nothing of value.

For the last few months I've also had emails from Nick Hollander; so another one to look out for:
'I am Nick Hollander and I work for Multilingual Search Engine Optimization Inc. in Washington DC (Tel: 1-202-250-3620) - I am Dr. Marc Schneider’s new assistant - I would like to speak with the person in charge of your international clientele. Who is my contact? Who should I speak to?'
I had identical emails for about two years from Dr. Marc Schneider.

Regarding xmk sitemaps I always use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ which is a free service for up to 500 pages. It will also produce sitemaps as ROR, Text and HTML.
