Job Possition in Europe Scam Email
I received some 50 spam emails, supposedly from brigitte@west-europen.net offering available European jobs, with the eye-catching subject line - Job possition in Europe. Not only did the west-europen spammers miss-spell the word “possition”, the twats even miss-spelled their domain name when they registered it, unless they they meant europen, rather than european (maybe they sell pens as well as offering loads of jobs?)
Funnily enough, the email was cloaked to appear to have been sent from my own email address (that’s not a giveaway, Brigitte, is it?) and these spam bastards don’t even have the decency to have even mocked up a website - they obviously think that job seekers are so desperate that they will reply to an email without first checking a site out.
The job possition in Europe email read as follows:
Subject: Job Possition in Europe (although one of the emails had Job Position in Europe as a subject line - maybe they have realised their error?)
Greetings
I represent a large international company where I work as a manager of its personnel recruitment department. Our company is engaged in different areas of activity, such as:
- real estate
- companies setting-up and winding-up
- bank accounts opening and maintenance
- logistics
- private undertaking services
- etc.
We need employees in Europe:
- salary 2.300 euro + bonus
- underemployment
- free timetable
If our offer is interesting for you send us the below information on our e-mail address: Brigitte@west-europen.net
Name:
Surname:
Country:
E-mail:
Mobile phone-number:
Attention! We need just the people residing in Europe.
Please, write your name and Telephone Number so that our manager could contact you, ask the necessary questions and answer yours.
I couldn’t find any viruses in the job possition for Europe spam email, so I’m guessing they are list-building; getting you to send your information so they can add it to a job seekers list and sell it to spammers all over the world. It may be that you will get a phonecall and they will ask you to send them some money to register, or it could be worse - they could be slave-traders looking for young girls to sell to brothels in back streets all over the world! DON’T FIND OUT what they are up to - DELETE their emails now!
If you get a similar job positions in Europe email, with a different subject line, email address, or subject line, please drop us a comment. Thanks, have a great day.

Hi,
Same story. I’m Spanish and, very conveniently, the sender e-mail was Gerardo, Spanish name. I also tried to find a website but unsuccessfully. I also wonder where they got my address, maybe from LinkedIN?
I’ll report this as SPAM.

You may have noticed that the morons could not spell european, almost certainly a Nigerian scam. Yep, I did mention the spelling of european in the article. FYI It’s not Nigerian, it comes from Rumania. Thanks for the comment. BM

hI,
i GET ABOUT 25 PER DAY NOW,
Very annoying, I personnaly think that it it either listbuilding or the nigerian 419 scam. respond fill out an application for and start paying an application fee. The they want your bank accountnumber and skim it as much as possible.
This is organised crime. Together with the local police we got people arrested and convicted. They had robbed for more than 22 milion Euro.
They got 3 months in prison and were send back to their country. They were probably back in our country in the week after.
Onno

Howard, pardon me, but you’re an idiot ! State: Moskovskaya ZIP: 178234 Country: RU If you have any clue about geography, you know that Moscow is the capital of Russia, and RU stands for Russia. Romania has the country code ‘RO’. Howard? Why are you having a pop at Howard? Knowing that the letters RU means Russia doesn’t make him poor at Geography Johnny-boy, and poor Howard probably can’t speak Russian either, so why would he know that Moskovskaya is Russian for Moscow? Although you are obviously a highly educated man, with some knowledge of the Russian language, the rest of us don’t fret about learning what Moscow is in Russian and calling someone an idiot because they din’t know as much as you, it somewhat sad and pathetic on your part. What an unpleasant oaf you are! BM

Hi there,
It’s up to 2600+ now and he or she is now known as Denise.
Funny enough is that they used a non-existing e-mail addess on my count. It works since I have a catch-all option.
As a favour to them I used a temp hotmail account to reply their mail with my details. Oeps… filled in their details instead of mine… ![]()
Think they can appreciate this? lol
However, if they find it nessecary to keep messing up my inbox, I will flood theirs! It’s not to hard to send out a couple of thousend mails at ones.
Just incase that Russian idiot will read this too: You are about to mess with the wrong guy!!!
For the rest, reply with temp hotmail (or like) including fase data. Keeps them busy ![]()

Do these addresses work?
I have a nice small program for mailbombing. fiber uplink so I am game.
I will just pull up one of our public IP addresses setup a fake smtp server adapt an spf record in the dns snd off we go. Take it down when where done. i’m really fed up with these.
I’m assuming the addresses work, as there would be no point otherwise. I have no idea what you are suggesting, Onno, but I can’t condone anything illegal and would suggest that putting yourself at risk of prosecution over this is somewhat over-the-top. They are, without doubt, a pain in the arse, but simply delete the emails and move on with your life - you are only on this planet for some 70 years - don’t risk spending any of it in jail for what is, after all, an annoyance for a few days until it runs its course.

im receiving scam emails from this company europen.com all the time how do i put a stop to it. Change your email address and ensure that it doesn’t appear anywhere on the net and that you don’t use it to buy anything on the net, or to open any accounts on the net. That would work

June 17th, 2010 at 6:59 pm
I am getting 35 emails a day with the same email as above, with different subjects. They then disappear for a few weeks then come back with a new extension. ***@fresh-vac.com being the latest. Will they eventually stop do you think? They will stop once they don’t think they are going to find any more people gullibla enough to send their details. It’s sad but true. BM
