HSBC Scam Phishing Email
HSBC Scam
I received a new phishing scam email supposedly from HSBC this morning and although the email looks like it could come from HSBC Bank plc, the form goes to ktacademy.co.kr - which is certainly not anything to do with the HSBC bank.
Genuine HSBC Links on Email
This HSBC phishing scam may catch a few people out, as they have taken some time and trouble in designing it and they have included what appear to be genuine links to the HSBC Bank - but it’s not a genuine HSBC email.
HSBC will never send you an email to “Dear customer”, they won’t ask for personal details online and their form won’t go to ktacademy.co.kr. If you receive this email, (mine supposedly came from HSBC Bank plc [hsbc.emailhsbcbank @hsbc.co.uk] and the subject line was Important Message From HSBC Bank plc), delete it immediately.
It’s a scam, get rid of it now!
