Request rejected scam spam
If, like me, you have received an email, purporting to be from Support System and telling you that yout request is rejected and you should unzip the zip file that they have sent you don’t do it. Delete it from your machine and get on with your day, as it’s not from your support system, they are guessing that they will find some people that have sent a support request to someone, somewhere and hoping that you’ll open the zip file for them.
The Request rejected email scam reads as follows:
from SUPPORT SYSTEM [underseasro@exdelivery.com]
Subject Request rejected
attachment EX-38463.zip
Dear Sirs,
Thank you for your letter!
Unfortunately we can not confirm your request!
More information attached in document below.
Thank you
Best regards.
What does the file do? It downloads and runs a fake AV solution on the recipient’s computer, hoping to trick recipients into downloading the attached EX-38463 file, as curiosity gets the better of them. The zip file is a Trojan that downloads and executes a fake Anti-virus variant.
This specific fake anti-virus has the ability to show fake alert pop-up windows, hoping to fool you into thinking your machine is crammed full of malware - but we don’t need to know exactly what happens next - we just need to know these spamming bastards are not doing this for the good of their health - and certainly not your computer’s health - and we need to deleted it and move on. If you receive the rejected support support system scam email above, or another one similar, leave a quick comment to let us know any differences between them.
I bought some fabulous sterling silver dog tags as a gift, from www.10Sterling.com today - nothing to do with this article - but it’s simply a great value for money designer gift site for men and I thought I would mention it!

Thanks for any other fantastic article. Where else may just anybody get that type of info in such a perfect means of writing? I have a presentation subsequent week, and I’m at the look for such info. You should have a tweak of your spam comment spinning software, pal, as “subsequent” is not a replacement for “next” in this context. Receiving a comment like this just screams “Spambastard alert!” BM
