Only people trained by me are allowed to use the Geodivining trademark. I will prosecute trademark infringement and I will not be held to rensom by internet pirates.

Further; I find no internet presence for Keluofa group company, but I have a heads up from on-line anti spam services that this is a common scam these days.
e-mails almost identical to yours are raining in to UK, European and American businesses like they are going out of fashion! I have trademark and the primary domains, who cares about the cock-a-memie subsidiary domains that won’t come up in search listings anyway.

Details of your scam are being circulated to the anti-spam and anti-scam networks now.

The funny bit is that this one did have me running around a bit because the named company sounded similar to one who did ask me if they could have my .com once (they have the same name in their country code.) 1. It was sent with “High importance” but addressed to “Dear Manager”.
2. A WHOIS search on the websites mentioned in the email showed they were registered only a day before the email was sent. Kinda strange for a company that has been in business since 2005.

They do sell domain names, as far as I can make out, as I’ve never purchased one from them. There is, however, no company waiting to snap up loads of sandcards domain names - that part is a con. If someone intended to jump on your brand, they could buy sandcards.net, sandcards.co.uk or sandcards.org - all of which are available and which would have a much better chance of doing something in the search engines than the mickey-mouse asian names that these scamsters are trying to frighten you into buying. It’s a scam in as much that they are lying about Zheng Dong trying to buy taumarunuicanoehire. What possible use would it be to them? If your site was called Canoehire.com, I could see where the email they send may worry you, but not a geo tagregeted domain name, with such a specific name (and so difficult to say! LOL) They DO sell domain names and as far as I know, if you pay, you get what you paid for - BUT THE EMAIL IS DESIGNED TO SCARE PEOPLE INTO BUYING DOMAIN NAMES THAT THEY NEITHER NEED NOR WANT, AT EXORBITANT PRICES. I think you are the one mistaken, I totally understand your emails.

A company Mudtty Skig, which I’ve been unable to trace on any business directory, ‘apparently’ would like to register some domain names similar to ourselves, and as being a ‘caring and considerate’ organisation you thought you would offer the domain names to me first, presumably at a higher price.

Interestingly, and after carrying out some research into this, Mudtty Skig seem to be buying a lot of domain names similar to existing names of already established companies in the UK and US for whatever reason and Daphne you appear to have written to each of these companies, along with your colleagues Angus, Andy, Lily Jesse not to mention a few others all offering the same service.

I did try to politely decline your offer, however, you persisted and so brought this stern reply on yourself; this is quite simply a scam, which I will no longer have any part of. Please do not contact me again and please delete us from your records.

And please stop trying to deceitfully try and obtain money from hard working individuals and companies. We have enough to deal with, especially in the current economical climate to worry about, without idiots like you wasting our time, clogging up our emails and taking up space on the internet and the planet.

Same as some of you, he notificed me a company wanted to buy some domains … He was advising to buy additional domains, but not from them, this is why I did not suspect much. Now, what they are trying to sell me, is the Internet Trademark , for 129€ (which is not excessive) … but I am not sure what this is for .. anybody could point me to information on INternet Trademark? When he wrote to tell me that someone was attempting to register my brand in Hong Kong, I replied that the person they were asking about was not our legal representative and thanked him for the notification. I asked no questions and did not request futher information, etc. but he then replied with the following text:

If you have no relationship with “Brandon International Venture Capital Holdings Ltd” Company, I think it must be a serious cybersquatting or they are one of your competitors, they want to take advantage of these names to expand their business or they just want to resell to you when you need in future. Because the international domain name registration principle which is domain name takes OPEN registration, every one or every other third party all has right to register the domains which have not be registered, and as a domain name registrar we have no right to reject their application.

If you think their registration will confuse your clients and harm your profits, we can send a dispute application document to you and help you register these domain names within dispute period. we think this is the only way to prevent domain names grab. But if you don’t think their application will affect your company, you can give up, we will finish their registration.

I fully intend to verify with the Hong Kong registrar’s office to see if the brand is applied for. I’m not holding my breath.
