Oh, thank goodness, I received the same one and as it’s the second I’ve received, I wondered if there was anything behind it.

Pippa Says:

I get so fed up of these scam emails. It is so important to never click the links in the email. If you think it might possibly be real login to PayPal or the bank whoever sent the email through their own site. If there is a problem you’ll be notified then. But NEVER, NEVER login via an email. Thanks for sharing.

Every time you get one of these things, you should forward it to PayPal, at: spoof@ paypal.com
They want to know what is happening, so that they can try to find out where it is coming from.
This kind of stuff gives PayPal a bad name, if some folks believe it. I get these things all the time.
Just remember: PayPal will NEVER send you something that doesn’t address you by your user name. And PayPal will never ask you to for your password. Only when you sign in on PayPal’s site, then you have to give it.

I Also received one of these:

Dear PayPal user,

As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the PayPal system. We recently contacted you after noticing an issue on your account.

We requested information from you for the following reason:

We recently received a report of unauthorized credit card use associated with this account. As a precaution, we have limited access to your PayPal account in order to protect against future unauthorized transactions.

Please download the form attached to this email and open it in a web browser. Once opened, you will be provided with steps to restore your account access. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure account safety.

In accordance with PayPal’s User Agreement, your account access will remain limited until the issue has been resolved. We encourage you to restore your PayPal account as soon as possible to help avoid this.
